Nonprofit Internships

AH Scholars are required to complete 180 internship hours for certification. These hours can be completed through one or several different internships throughout the duration of your academic career. However, you must complete at least 75 internship hours while enrolled in NPM 312, Fieldwork in Nonprofit Management or a comparable internship course offered at Pepperdine.

NPM 312 (or a comparable internship course) is offered every semester and in the summer. You must have secured an internship before you can enroll in NPM 312. We recommend you look at the Career Center’s Internship) website or utilize nonprofit websites such as idealist.org or opportunityknocks.org to find an internship.
